Go-to Spring Shoes

I have been busy bringing out spring clothes from hibernation due to the early hits of warm weather while I’ve been on my blog hiatus. As I’ve been going through my closet, I realized one item in particular I have been using more than any other: My Steve Madden slip-on sneakers.

The sneakers have been a go-to item I have used for both work and for running errands. The style and comfort of the shoe is an added bonus, allowing me to switch between street style and snappy casual looks.

My first look has been my favorite when I am on the go. I paired the slip-ons with ripped ankle skinny jeans and a bomber jacket. Bomber jackets have been such a hot seller for spring, so I figured it would be perfect with the sneakers. I picked up mine on sale from Grey Suede (extra support for Team Raven, Bachelor Nation), but what really sold me was the army green color and patchwork detail.

Gypsy Dreamer has been bringing in the best spring arrivals, and one of them was a marbled tank. I knew right when we got it in that the tank would be a great top for the season. The cool breeze had me layer with a chambray shirt.

A fun and different tank like this can be layered with anything from a button-up shirt to a simple cardigan. I wanted to keep my second look casual but add a bit of pep with a bold red lip. If you want to spice up your spring look even more while keeping the comfy shoe, I recommend to pair it with a long cardigan.

I just so happened to have this chambray shirt in my closet from, you guessed it, a thrift store find

Remember my DIY distressed denim jacket? The jacket came in handy for my snappy casual look. I dressed-up my slip-on sneakers with a shift dress, denim jacket and red lip. While I love my black slip-ons, I think taupe slip-on sneakers would be even better for spring and this outfit. I may have to make a new shoe purchase soon…

I didn’t want the outfit to look too dressy which is why I added the denim jacket.

The look gave me some ’90s vibes, but I was loving it

Three simple, yet fabulous, looks and one pair of slip-on sneakers for spring. Comfortable can be stylish.

As always, leave a comment down below if you have any spring go-to looks!
